Quick Update

I wanted to bring you a quick update. I’ve been slower with actual blog posts lately, and I wanted to tell you why and also give you a heads up on upcoming posts. I’ve been slower with posts, not because I don’t have stuff to write about and not because I haven’t been active in game, but primarily because a lot of my available time for working on the blog has been spent updating content elsewhere on the site. [Fitting] Occator

Hello, capsuleers. This weekend I finished training Gallente Industrial V, which was my final hurdle to climbing into a transport ship. I decided to go ahead with Gallente Industrial V over say Caldari Industrial V because I was primarily shooting for the Viator BR (a fitting post for which is next up). I’m not sure the Occator would have been my first choice for a DST, but it’s what I can currently fly, so I bought one, and here’s my fit. Continue reading

[Fiction] Confidence, Part 1

Danig nervously tapped the chrono on his wrist, activating its display: 0350 hours. Its ambient temperature sensor indicated the air inside the lift was a cool 18°C. He wiped the sweat from his brow. He kept his gaze averted from the black hemispheres of the security cams mounted in the ceiling and above the lift control panel. He knew his people were watching. Awesome. On the topic of new stuff, this post is actually about new stuff for this website. There have been some updates/additions, and for those who only read the blog and haven’t explored further yet, I wanted to make mention of what’s been added recently. Continue reading

What Happens in Vegas…

There’s lots of excitement about the upcoming EVE Vegas event. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend the event or watch the live stream, so I will have to rely on other blogs to get my coverage fix. One day, I would like to attend a Fanfest or other similar player gathering. The dynamic of the player community of EVE interests me. So, with that in mind, and in anticipation of EVE Vegas, I thought I’d write a blog post about the topic of the player community. Continue reading

Getting the Ball Rolling

I had planned to enter a blog post over the weekend, but unfortunately didn’t get around to it. But don’t worry, dear readers. It was a busy weekend in-game, and now it’s time to fill you in on everything you missed. We added some people to the corp, set up a new shiny, banged our head against corp role mechanics, took advantage of a fortuitous wormhole, and conducted some diplomacy. Strap in and read on! Behind the Scenes

I thought I’d update you guys about the further development of the blog. Over on our What’s in Development page, I talk a little about future plans for website features. Onward to bigger and better things, yeah? So, read on if you’d like to learn a little more about what you’ll find here in the future. Continue reading
